The first 10-15 minutes of each practice session will be used for warm-ups.

This week additional events and options are being added. All the swimmers are really improving and we want to give them the opportunity to try new races. Since we have only one hour for warmup and racing in each practice, swimmers may choose some of the races they swim this wee. This is how each session will run:

1st & 3rd Sessions: ALL swimmers will do an Individual Medley (IM) and can choose 3 other individual strokes to swim: back, breast, butterfly, or free. Mixed relays will again close each session.

2nd Session: Coaches will choose strokes based on each swimmer's ability. All swimmers will participate in a free relay.

When you register your swimmers this week, please be sure to ask them which individual stroke they want to swim. Also remember to sign up for volunteer jobs and/or providing store bought Rice Krispie treats for our Friday practice.

Parents are still not allowed on the deck during the meet unless they are volunteering. We encourage families to set up in the grass to cheer on their swimmer.

Swimmers are able to participate in 4 events this week (free style, butterfly, backstroke, and breaststroke) at the distance appropriate for their age group. Warm-ups will be held at the beginning of each session.

Please register your child for the meet and sign-up to volunteer.

Welcome to the first OTF Intra-Practice Race of 2020! Each swimmer will have up to 2 events this week, freestyle and backstroke. The first 15 mins of practice session will be used for warm-ups.

We need volunteers for each practice group to help us run this event. PER PRACTICE: timers(4), back-up timer(1), stroke & turn judge(1), zookeeper (2), deck photographer(1), and cleaner(1). Most volunteers will need to wear a mask on the pool deck since they can't maintain a social distance of 6 ft from swimmers.
